Totale Régie at the Grand Palais for the 105th Anniversary of the International Fencing Federation (FIE)
The International Fencing Federation, founded in Paris in 1913, celebrated its 105th anniversary on Sunday, December 9, 2018 at its annual convention.
Events company Villa Eugénie has commissioned Totale Régie to set up a trafic control on the Cours de la Reine to facilitate the assembly at first and then the dismantling of the event. During the evening Totale Regie was on site to maintain the device to facilitate parking and the arrival of guests.
A gala evening and guests of honor
The President of the International Fencing Federation (FIE) Alisher Usmanov has invited guests of honor to this gala evening.
Thomas Bach, President of the International Olympic Committee, Presidents of the National Olympic Committees, Sports Ministers from all the countries acceding to the International Fencing Federation and Hollywood stars were present. Alain Delon was also invited alongside Mila Jovovich and Uma Thurman.
The FIE has 153 federations worldwide. She oversees the global development of fencing and organizes World, Junior, Cadet and Veteran Championships. Fencing is a major French Olympic sport with many champions including Philippe Omnès, elected at the FIE “Hall of Fame“.
